How is pricing determined for drill design?
There are two main factors that determine the price of your design. These are the size of your band and the difficulty of the drill. Below is an outline of the different levels of difficulty. Please contact me for more details.
Grade 5 – Advanced 80+ Pages This drill is suited for highly competitive bands with the necessary practice time and experience.
Grade 4 – Difficult 60-80 pages This drill will explore some concepts found throughout the grade 5 category but with fewer charts. This is great for competitive bands that have mastered the basic concepts and are ready to start increasing the difficulty.
Grade 3 – Medium 45-60 Pages This drill is best for groups that have been introduced into the competitive marching band scene but are still working on their basic skills or for groups that have limited practice schedules.
Grade 2 - Basic Up to 45 Pages This drill is best suited to bands that are just beginning the process of joining a competitive circuit or for bands that perform at halftime shows and festivals. How is pricing determined for winterguard and percusion staging? -Difficulty -Length of Show -Method - Do you want me to send you the drill or do you want me to come in and stage the group in person?
What is your payment plan like? I like to receive 1/2 of the payment before I start the project but I understand how school districts/band boosters work with fund raising and schedules so I am open to most payment plans.
What if my numbers/instrumentation change after I give you the information? If you can get me the changed information before I start writing, then it is no problem. If I have already written the drill, I will make the changes after my other projects have been completed and for a fee equal to the additional amount of time the project will take.
